Patented machinery for tyre rasping

Electronic automatic rasping machine for light and giant transport tires from 16″ to 24″ maximum width 510mm. Equipped with an innovative patented buffing system and an automatic tyre shrinking process, the CR500 Buffing Machine has low energy consumption, efficient scrap removal and low phonetic impact. Standard equipment: automatic tire loading, interchangeable heels, laser circumference measuring system, dual motor brush assembly, material evacuation system via auger, Tread removal by means of a cutter and basket to perform the required roughness (RMA) with minimal removal.

The innovation consists in the new pneumatic machining system by milling. Buffing Machine CR500 uses a newly developed tool made and patented by Italmatic Robotics & AGV that removes the residual tread avoiding the thermal shock of the tire. In this phase 95% of the material is removed through the rasp basket from the remaining 5% to obtain the right RMA texture: a technology that allows to reduce considerably the consumption of electricity.
