We call the composite material the product derived from the polymerization of carbon fibers and resins, properly prepared and shaped by overlapping layers of fiber and resin on molds or cores.
The polymerization of the resins can take place in heated or vacuum moulds, but the best results are obtained by process in autoclave, keeping it vacuum sealed in special casings to eliminate all air infiltration and subjecting it to external pressure to improve its compactness.
In particular, ITALMATIC for the aeronautical, space and military sectors, for structural and other parts, builds autoclaves in compliance with the strictest American and European production standards such as: BOEING D6-49327; BAC5317-5; BAC5514, BAC5578; BAC5621, AIPI03-02-019 BQG0080 , CPS8100 , CPS7100 , AP3222 ensuring thermal uniformity according to AMS2750E and equipment certification according to NADCAP regulations
Recently, with the affirmation of thermoplastic materials and resins, we have witnessed a further evolution of process techniques. Italmatic autoclaves have followed these innovations hand in hand and guarantee the safety, reliability, precision and repeatability of cycles over time.
